The Championship will be contested May 24-30, 2010, at the course in Parker, Colo., approximately 25 minutes southeast of Denver.
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Phil Tralies of Charleston, S.C., whose business acumen the past two decades guided Club Car Inc. to prominence in the domestic and global markets while also serving as a popular ambassador for the game, has been named the recipient of the PGA Ernie Sabayrac Award for lifetime contributions to the golf industry.
PGA Life Member Errie Ball of Stuart, Fla., the last surviving member of the original Masters field of 1934, celebrated his 98th birthday on Nov. 14, with golf legend Jack Nicklaus and a descendant of a golf idol of both: Bobby Jones.
Legendary Bob Hope, winner of the 1989 PGA Distinguished Service Award and someone who shared his love of golf with millions through multiple entertainment genres, is the focus of a special exhibition -- "Bob Hope: Shanks for the Memory" -- which debuted Nov. 8, at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Fla.
